    What: Wahiawa Lions School Supplies Collection

    When: July 15 and July 2210 AM—2 PM at Longs and Tamura’s


    Donations of these items appreciated!

    • Pencils #2
    • Red and black ballpoint pens
    • Wide-ruled binder paper, 3-hole
    • Portfolios with inside bottom
    • pockets
    • Bar and pencil-top erasers
    • Glue - liquid or stick
    • Paper towels & napkins
    • Facial tissue, liquid soap
    • Crayola colored pencils and marker sets
    • Water color paint sets,
    • Marble composition books
    • Sharpie permanent black markers
    • Yellow highlighters
    • Manila folders
    • Fiskars scissors, 5 or 6 inch

    NOTE: Most stores (Longs, Wal-Mart,etc. ) post lists of school supplies needed in area schools. 

    All donations will be distributed to schools in the Wahiawa area. Monetary donations also accepted, please make checks payable to Wahiawa Lions Club. Your help and generosity is greatly appreciated! Mahalo!

    2023 if the first year that the festival will be back, with a few changes. Itʻll be at Ka’ala Elementary instead of Fred Wright Park. The festival still benefits the Wahiawā Historical Societyʻs proposed Wahiawā museum, but this is the first year that all the community groups in Wahiawā are banding together to support the event.

    Expect great food and vendors, as well as fun entertainment, a country market, and the Pineapple Bake Off and Paper Plane Contest!

    Please join us for one of Hawai’iʻs oldest festivals. Itʻll be a great day in Wahiawā.

    At 12 noon on Easter Sunday, April 9th, the WCBA will be hosting the LARGEST Easter Egg Hunt ever to hit the islands! Over 1,000 colorful eggs with free gifts and prizes provided by our local businesses and community groups will be hidden throughout Wahiawa Town. Find an egg, open it up, and see what you won! 

    The purpose of this event is to provide a fun, exciting and entertaining event in Wahiawa that will:

    • Get folks outside walking and enjoying the outdoors while having fun hunting!
    • Help bring new faces from outside our community into Wahiawa
    • Reintroduce the beauty and charm of our amazing Wahiawa town to our "guests"
    • Drive business into our amazing local Wahiawa shops!

    Here are the steps to participate:

    1. Click here to join as a business or community group member. If you join with an Individual Membership, you may participate too; however, we kindly ask for $5 per bag of eggs to help offset the cost (or you can use your own eggs).

    4. Contact Keoni Ahlo at 808-782-2456 to arrange to pick up your 24 plastic eggs. You may buy more bags of eggs at $5 per 24 eggs.

    Breakfast is only $8! Delicious school-made shortbread Cookies are $8 a dozen...purchase early, as these sell out quickly!

    Tickets will be sold at Wahiawa Longs and Tamura’s on March 11 and 18 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Also Available from Lions members. Call Nahoku at 808-253-9335 if you'd like to pick up tickets at State Farm on Kilani Ave. 

    Breakfast: Fresh-scrambled Peterson Farm eggs, little smokies sausages, rice, banana bread, Dole pineapple chunks, and a drink. Take out available.

    All proceeds to benefit community needs, such as scholarships, Veterans Day Parade, and much more!

    The Wahiawa Community and Business Association (WCBA) will hold its annual installation dinner on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Central Oahu Event Center from 6PM to 9PM on 130 Mango Street.

    Learn more about membership benefits, connect with other businesses and individual members, and discover the latest developments of our community. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, Wahiawa trivia, as well as a silent auction from local businesses.

    With your support at our annual dinner and throughout the coming year, we will continue to make strides in making Wahiawa a better place to live, work, shop, and visit.

    The Master of Ceremonies this year is TBD. WCBA Member and former board secretary Lyn Lurbe is the Installing Officer. Guest speakers will present the latest community developments.

    It’s time to get into the Christmas spirit because the long-standing Wahiawā Town Santa Parade is back!

    After being put on hold for the past two years due to the pandemic, the community favorite returns on Friday, December 2.

    We’re thrilled to welcome back this annual celebration with local businesses, civic organizations, and residents. The parade will start from Kaala Elementary at 6:30pm, going up California Avenue, and ending at North Cane Street. Keiki and their families also get a chance to share some aloha with Santa at Teapresso Bar on Kilani Avenue.

    Businesses and organizations interested in participating must fill out the form below (see link) by Friday, November 25.
